Start your review of Fat-Burning Man: Intro to the Paleo Diet
Quick and to the Point I really like Abel James Intro to Paleo. I'm a newbie (on day 7 of 60 day Challenge to see if I can adopt this as a lifestyle after my 60 days is up 8/29/2017, follow @topaleoornot) to the Paleo Diet and I've been reading as much as possible to really gain knowledge of the diet/lifestyle. Abel's book was short and very to the point. I can appreciate an author that gives you exactly what you need to know to get going.

Very Informative Enjoyed reading and gave me the basics and information needed to start eating healthier. A lot of things Abel said rang true with me. Encouraging I will try some of the recipes.

Good information The recipe are delicious and simple. The exercise information was helpful and looking forward to incorporating them. Quick read and helpful.
I do not think is a book that is worth in terms of explaining or giving scientific proof of the hypothesis that much of this and that is bad for the human. It is based on a generalization that humans have shifted their living. Nevertheless, it does not explain significant differences in cultures such as many Europeans that have long life expectancies and are pretty much healthier even though they eat bread, pasta, and other non-paleolithic foods.
For filling the book with an example of exercises I do not think is a book that is worth in terms of explaining or giving scientific proof of the hypothesis that much of this and that is bad for the human. It is based on a generalization that humans have shifted their living. Nevertheless, it does not explain significant differences in cultures such as many Europeans that have long life expectancies and are pretty much healthier even though they eat bread, pasta, and other non-paleolithic foods.
For filling the book with an example of exercises or meals cookbook, it is better to set up a web page, IG, or other social media that works better and allow 3rd parties contribution. ...more

This is a practical book, it tells you only what you need to know in a super condensed way. It won't explain anything about ketosis and how your body works and why paleo makes sense. It just tells you what to eat and what to avoid. Period. That is accomplished in just a few pages (check out the chapter "paleo in a page" if you're in a hurry) and the rest of the book is a compilation of success cases taken from a blog and some recipes taken from the caveman blog (those are free online by the way) This is a practical book, it tells you only what you need to know in a super condensed way. This is a very bried, thorough, introduction to the paleo lifestyle. If you know nothing of the topic and are looking for a brief read on the topic to get started, this is a great book for you. If you have read anything by Mark Sission, Robb Wolf, or Loren Cordain then you will not find anything new here.
On another note - I highly recommend Abel James's podcast The Fat Burning Man. This is a very bried, thorough, introduction to the paleo lifestyle. If you know nothing of the topic and are looking for a brief read on the topic to get started, this is a great book for you. As mentioned before, it is a good intro to pelo. It sets a moderate course for improvement with options to ramp up. You get a good sense of his empathy through his writing. I found his program (with some personal modification) knocked off 5% body fat in one month. More importantly, I really feel better. But, It did take about two weeks to kick in, and the sugar to drain from my body.

As far as basic, intro books, this is a great one. It's easy to read, very quick, and explains that Paleo isn't a diet, but rather a lifestyle. He's also not one of those super-strict guys that make your following this plan an outcast from your friends.

A nice, concise guide to getting started in Paleo. It's a short book, a quick read, and very informative. Great info! Tons of helpful tips and information on going paleo. There are even some recipes to try that are very good!

Good Cliff Notes Good basics. A little too much filler (food menus) at the end. Recommend for Paleo newbies. Good value for money.
